Menswear inspired

Fashion month is finally here, so exciting! Menswear inspired fashion has been spotted as the new trend, with a feminine twist of course. You have to be careful with this because it is absolutely crucial that the tailoring is perfect, or as people say nowadays, "on fleek." This military jacket has embroidered sleeves, you all know how much I love embroidery! This detail gives a manly army jacket a little delicate touch paired with a flirty "A-line" skirt is the perfect balance, making it where masculine meets feminine.

I am so excited to experiment with menswear pieces, pinstripes are number one on my list, paired with a chic pair of oxfords or creepers make me crave fall. Until then I will enjoy my destroyed denim, skirts and dresses. I can't wait for my hair to be long and skin to be tanned. So much inspiration when the sun is out to play.

Flats are expected to be comfortable, in reality they tend to be more uncomfortable than heels. I have had my fair share of uncomfortable flats, and am really happy to have found a pair that's comfortable. Comfort makes the world of a difference, I was enjoying walking around the city and appreciating life. It was such a relief not being on a time crunch that I was able to have a productive day. Buying a nice pair of shoes is more of an investment than just another purchase, and if you have that mentality it will help expedite the process of buying the nice shoes you have always wanted.
