Tweed Lovin'

I'm going to start this post by talking about my shoes. Anyone who knows me can testify my love for Dubai. When I found out Chanel launched their Dubai collection for Resort 2015, I was in complete awe. I love all of the pieces so much and want to own them all. These slippers are so "Middle Eastern" and perfect to wear. I have worn out my espadrilles and found these to be a great alternative shoe. The shoes come in 3 colors, black, nude and a red/white mesh. I found the black to be practical for myself.

The tweed dress is actually a tunic, that I wore as a dress. This is a considered a sweater dress and is of the utmost comfort, paired of tights is a perfect winter day look. Tights and winter go hand in hand, wouldn't you say? Sweater dresses are my weakness, I think they are comfortable, feminine and warm; all three are what I look for, especially during fall/winter. At times, cold weather clothing can look unisex and boxy. Your shape can easily get lost under the layers you wear to keep warm.

I never realized that I own a lot of heavy jewelry, my YSL ring is my last heavy piece that has been added to my jewelry armoire for a while. I'm into dainty pieces nowadays, plus they are easy to wear, in the sense that I don't even realize I am wearing them. Not to mention, you can layer dainty jewelry!  I still love this statement ring and cannot wait to wear it all throughout Spring. Which do you prefer, statement or dainty jewelry?
